Ray’s Famous Pies
Ray learned to bake pies from his mother whose recipe came from her heart. As she had a feel for the crust, she measured with her eyes and the feel of the dough. He uses the same ingredients in his crusts as she did although his measurements are more precise. While her pies were better, many have said that my pies were the best they have ever had.
In 1993, a friend recommended that he bring his pies to Meadowbrook Farm’s farm store and the rest became history. Working at night and on weekends for more than twenty years, Ray delivered a variety of pies to happy customers who came back for more over the weeks, months and years..
