Peak Forest Fruit
Founder Lars Norgren picked his first morel near Halfway, Oregon on July 4, 1966. Ate his first chanterelle in an omelet Christmas Eve 1979. The first two decades were focused on large scale collection and wholesale distribution nationally and internationally, the more recent two decades on service to local restaurants. All seven family members have worked fulltime in the business at some point, three at present. Our children picked mushrooms and berries as soon as they could walk and worked at farmers'markets starting at age seven.
